 Los Del Pueblo Actors’ Lab has arisen in order to provide a theater experience targeted at young, urban people of color and any one else who’s down. Los Del Pueblo represents a new generation of young, talented actors, directors and playwrights whose primary function is to create new, exciting, cutting edge, multimedia plays that engage young adults in a way that no other theater production, movie or television show could. We seek to nurture and develop the vastly untapped creative talent that resides within San Jose’s seething population. Our intent is to produce dynamic, risk-taking, alternative theater that pushes and challenges its audience through original plays that are relevant and accessible to historically alienated audiences.
